Nathan Prihoda has wide-ranging experience in family law cases, including experience in divorce appeals. He was the briefing attorney on the successful appellant’s brief filed in Mueller v. Mueller, No. 01-11-00247-CV, 2012 WL 682285 (Tex. App.-Houston [1st Dist.] Mar. 1, 2012, pet. denied) (memo op.). Additionally, Nathan has first-chair trial experience in family law and commercial litigation.
Nathan was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate in Psychology at the University of St. Thomas, and his background in psychology makes him an asset in custody cases and custody evaluations involving psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals of all backgrounds. Additionally, he is a graduate of Tulane University Law School, where he earned his juris doctor with honors in 2010. At Tulane, Nathan was the Chief Justice of the Tulane Moot Court Board, one of the largest student-run moot court organizations in the United States, and he competed on several mock trial teams while at Tulane. He received honors in trial advocacy and was also recognized with the Tulane 34 Award, a campus-wide award that is presented to 34 graduates from Tulane”s 10 schools and colleges, recognizing students for their exemplary leadership, service, and academic excellence.
Nathan is a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Young Professionals Endeavor, Texas Accountants and Lawyers for The Arts, and the Houston Bar Association.
